Cocoa

Cocoa is our second specialty, and it carries many of the same regulatory demands as coffee, with wrinkles of its own. Brauner International has handled cocoa and cocoa-product imports for decades and understands the classification, admissibility, and documentation that keep shipments moving.

Talk to us about your cocoa imports.

As an FDA-regulated food, cocoa is subject to Prior Notice, exams, and holds. We manage facility registration, chain-of-custody and documentation requirements, and we work directly with FDA, USDA, APHIS, and PPQ to clear exams and resolve detentions on our clients’ behalf.

We are members of the Cocoa Merchants’ Association of America and work with the trading houses and established importers who move cocoa at volume. Our strength is with companies that already have an international supply chain and need it to run with fewer delays, lower cost, and cleaner compliance.
